Hello, one and all! I am Silver S.D. I am an artist when I'm allowed to be. This right here is my art blog! You'll see commissions, doodles, and all sorts of neat things here! Also I'll make a few personal posts here and there, but I do my best to keep that to a minimum. I you'll find the tag lower in this description, so if you don't wan to know what's on my mind or anything of the sort, please block the tag. <:
This is kind of interesting… When I first got into Off, I was very wary of it, and never intended to make much more fanart than the few sketches I made of the Judge, Enoch and Zacharie. And yet now, I’m making plans for a fangame.
Funny how that works.
I still have those artist question things to finish! I finished one of them, but I’m working on #7 and #8 at the moment, #8 taking the longest because I decided to chose a more difficult picture to draw… Go me… >.>
1: (Take a picture of your workspace.)
It’s messy. <8D I have a lot of construction paper out because I’m planning a thing. Yes.
But yeah, I have stuff everywhere, but I do have a good idea of where everything is. I’ve been meaning to reorganize, but whoops! I haven’t. ouo;
5: (Who/what inspires you?)
Oh wow, so many things inspire me. Music, drawings, paintings… I kinda gather inspiration from a lot of places. Colors, especially. I looooove colors and they often inspire me. ^^
Though basically I can’t really pin one thng down for my inspiration…
13: (Least favorite thing to draw?)
Hm… Probably arms and legs. Maybe hands as well? Feet? I’m getting a lot better at feet, I mostly just hate drawing them from the side… As for arms, legs and hands-ok, maybe not legs but defiantly arms and hands-I often can’t get them shaped right… Mostly this stems from just a stagnant pose where they’re just lying at the person’s side…
15: (Any weird artist behaviour you admit doing?)
I must admit, I’m not really sure what these are. XD
I do chew the ends of my pencils, but I’d do that anyway whenever I’m anxious. Ummmmmm…. I start sketching something, but if it doesn’t start shaping correctly I erase and start over? I dunno! I don’t really know what that means! XD (I’m dense sometimes so I’m probably missing something.)
1: Take a picture of your workspace.
2: Show your pencilcase and what's inside.
3: Show a thing you last drew, no matter how small or a "doodle" it is.
4: Lineart or coloring?
5: Who/what inspires you?
7: Draw a same pic with your dominant and non-dominant hand.
8: Redraw one favorite piece of art by other (internet/tumblr) artist.
9: Do you have any OCs?
10: Draw a gijinka of your blog.
11: Do you listen to music when you draw? Favorites?
12: Favorite thing to draw?
13: Least favorite thing to draw?
14: Draw a pic of yourself like how you look just now.
15. Any weird artist behaviour you admit doing?
To celebrate my 100 (+) followers, I’m going to do a little bit of a giveaway!! I don’t have much money, especially not for spending… So it’s going to be but a simple giveaway.
There will be two winners!!
PLEASE NOTE: I will not draw ANY NSFW whatsoever for prizes. No fetishes, either. Sorry!
I know that others have made posts like this before, but it doesn’t hurt to have a few more circulating around, does it? I won’t be yelling at anyone or calling anyone names as no one here is truly a villian, but I will identify the problem, explain why it’s a problem and provide some options to help fix it.
There are many people out there who are like me, who have sound sensitivities. This varies from person to person, but to put it simply: Sound is very important to us. Sound can hurt us, sound can help us, but mostly it hurts us. Some sounds hurt our ears, some give us headaches and some make us completely shut down. We have a hard time going to places that others would consider fun because the noise level is too high, and we could potentially get over-stimulated.
Over-stimulation is BAD. This can throw us into a panic or anxiety attack that we cannot help.
We’re quiet people who live in a world who likes to crank the music past 11.
So here’s the thing: Blogs with AutoPlay just don’t mix well with us. Very often we’re already listening to something, or we’re trying to relax in some peace and quiet. If we go to a blog that has AutoPlay, and we don’t realize it, the music can often be jarring, especially if it’s too loud and or active. Very often the music clashes with what we’re already doing and it’s just a big mess to our ears.
I know that on Chrome, it identifies if there is music on a tab or not, but not everyone uses Chrome! If they’re using anything else, it’s difficult to tell if a blog has music going into it or not.
Yes, we can stop the music, but having to go through it long enough to find where the music player is to turn it off can often be more of a hassle than it’s worth. What’s more is I’ve seen so many blogs with music players that are near impossible to find, blending in with the theme and being too tiny to locate on first glance, making it more tedious and more logical to close the blog and never return.
HOW TO FIX IT:
Thank you very much for your time!! I hope this helped, and I hope I didn’t miss any important information. If you have something to add, please reblog (as text!) and add it into your reply. Please keep my original post the same! Thank you! ☆
